Your Privacy Choices
Last updated:
This page summarizes the privacy choices available to California residents using the eNeighbor™ mobile application (the “App”), operated by Curlew Labs LLC. The full disclosures live in our Privacy Policy; this page is the short version.
We do not sell your information
Curlew Labs does not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act). Because we do not engage in either, there is no opt-out for sale or sharing to enable.
What we collect, and why
The App collects only what it needs to do its job — detecting that your device has been used by mid-morning and notifying a paired neighbor if not. Specifically: account identifiers (email, account ID, device tokens), device characteristics (model, OS version, timezone), timestamps of device activity and reachability signals, your notification preferences, and limited diagnostic data when something goes wrong. We do not collect contacts, messages, photos, or other personal content. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling. We may email you about eNeighbor itself — reminders, setup and pairing prompts, and product updates — which you can opt out of at any time.
Full categories and purposes are listed under “California residents” in the Privacy Policy.
Your rights
As a California resident, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you (right to know).
- Send you a copy of that information in a portable format (right to data portability).
- Correct personal information that is inaccurate (right to correct).
- Delete personal information we have collected (right to delete).
We will not retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights — using the App will not be penalized for asserting them.
How to exercise these rights
The fastest paths are inside the App:
- Download My Data in Settings exports a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Delete Account in Settings cascades a deletion of the App data we control.
If you prefer, email support@curlewlabs.com from the address tied to your account and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will verify your request by matching the email or account identifier you give us to the one on your account, and respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA (generally 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary). If we cannot verify your request, we will tell you why.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide written authorization signed by you and to verify their own identity, and we may independently confirm the request with you before acting on it.
Questions or complaints
If you have questions about this page or our handling of your information, email support@curlewlabs.com. California residents may also contact the California Attorney General’s office at oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa.
